Senator Olabiyi Durojaiye has died from the COVID-19 Virus.
The Ijebu Igbo born politician, died on Tuesday. He was 88.
The former political activist and member of National Democratic Coalition(NADECO) represnted Ogun east in the Senate between 1999 and 2003.
He later served as chairman, Board of Commissioners for Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), under the first term of the Buhari administration.
COVID-19 has been flagged as the killer of Senator Ibrahim Mantu and the pioneer artist Yusuf Adebayo Grillo.
The Durojaiye family is yet to release a statement on his death.
