Governors of states in the southern part of Nigeria have arrived in Abeokuta, Ogun State, for the meeting of the Southern Governors’ Forum.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the meeting is being held at the presidential lodge, Ibara Housing, Abeokuta.
Early callers to the meeting were led by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos and Chairman of the Southwest Governors’ Forum.
He was received by the host governor, Dapo Abiodun.
Other Governors who have arrived are: Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Alex Otti (Abia), Godwin Obaseki (Edo), Ademola Adeleke (Osun), Bassey Otu (Cross River) and Umo Eno (Akwa Ibom)
Deputy Governors, Chinyere Ekomaru (Imo) and Monday Onyeme (Delta), Olayide Adelami (Ondo) are also in attendance.
Leaders of the 17 Southern States are expected at the meeting.
