The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State.
Sanwo-Olu contested his re-election as Lagos governor on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The 2023 governorship election in Lagos was keenly contested by Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour of the Labour Party.
At the court on Friday, Justice Garba Lawal who read the lead judgment dismissed the appeal filed by Rhodes-Vivour for lack of merit.
The Supreme Court also affirmed the election of Sanwo-Olu as governor of Lagos State.
