In response to the recent Supreme Court judgment upholding his victory in the Presidential election, President Bola Tinubu has emphasised that the verdict has strengthened his commitment to serving Nigeria.
Speaking to the media in his office shortly after the verdict, President Tinubu commended the Supreme Court’s decision as a significant victory and noted that such an outcome calls for increased dedication, hard work, and a renewed sense of patriotism.
The president also reiterated his unwavering commitment to the well-being of all Nigerians and a desire to put the country’s interests at the forefront of his administration.
He also reinforced the importance of unity and collective effort in working towards a brighter future for Nigeria.
His words:
”It is important that we recognise that we have no other country but this one. So, we better be committed to it. Not for the sake of our own aggrandisement. But, our commitment to the values, the creed of dedication, patriotism and commitment to the values of this country.
”It is extremely important that we have a change of mindset for the sake of our country, not for us, but for our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, the inheritors of tomorrow.”
