Lagos police boss visits family of policemen beheaded by IPOB militants [PHOTO]

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has led the management team of the command to commiserate with the families of two inspectors allegedly killed by militants loyal to the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the victims identified as Inspector Rufai Adamu and Inspector Akubo Emmanuel were killed on November 25, 2021, in Anambra State and their mutilated body circulated online.

“Inspr Rufai Adamu and Inspr Akubo Emmanuel, until their death, displayed a high standard of discipline, humility, great commitment and unparallel dedication to duty, which distinguished them among their colleagues.

“These admirable attributes characterised their career in the force and will remain indelible in our memory,” a condolence letter delivered on Wednesday to the families stated.

Although Nigerian authorities continue to accuse IPOB of mindless killings, especially in the southeast region, the pro-Biafra group disassociated its members as well as the Eastern Security Network (ESN) from the dastardly act of beheading the two policemen.

The group said it is a non-violent movement since inception, and accused agencies as the Department of State Services (DSS) of trying to frame them.
