BREAKING: Tinubu appoints Aliyu Ahmed as CEO of National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and IDPs

President Bola Tinubu has given his official approval for the appointment of Mr Aliyu Tijani Ahmed as the new Federal Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI).

Mr Aliyu Tijani Ahmed, a distinguished professional with a wealth of experience, is set to assume a crucial role in guiding the NCFRMI towards its mandate of providing protection, assistance, and support to refugees, migrants, and internally displaced persons across Nigeria.

The appointment of Mr. Ahmed comes at a pivotal time when Nigeria faces challenges related to displacement due to various factors, including conflict, natural disasters, and other humanitarian crises.
