President Bola Tinubu has conferred the national honour of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) on members of the Super Eagles that participated at the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) football tournament.
Members of the Super Eagles also received plots of land as gifts for their outstanding performance at the recently concluded tournament.
Politics Nigeria reports that President Tinubu is presently hosting the Super Eagles at the Council Chambers of the State House.
The Super Eagles arrived Nigeria after losing their match against the host nation, Côte d’Ivoire, in the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
