The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, on Sunday, arrived in Akure, Ondo State capital to present his 80-page manifesto to the leadership of the pan-Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere.

Tinubu was received at the Akure airport by Governor of Ekiti State, Abiodun Oyebanji; Ondo State deputy governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and other APC leaders.

The APC presidential candidate is expected to meet with the leaders of Afenifere for the presentation of his manifesto.

In a statement issued Saturday night by the Director of Media and Publicity for the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga, the manifesto highlights an eight-point agenda such as national security, economy, agriculture, power, oil and gas, transportation and education, which he tagged “Renewed Hope 2023 – Action Plan for a Better Nigeria.”

The statement read, “During the visit, he will also present his Action Plan on how he intends to tackle the economic and other problems the country is grappling with.

“Tinubu addressed a coalition of Arewa groups in Kaduna during which he highlighted the key elements of the plan, especially as they benefit the people of northern Nigeria.

“The APC standard bearer will similarly speak on his plans on Sunday before the Yoruba group, led by Pa Reuben Fasoranti.”

  1. Buy why is he trying to play a divide and rule tactics.
Hr should let all Afenifere members be present.
Pa Fasoranti has handed over to to Pa Adebanjò in acting capacity.

  2. TRUELY! THE REAL Afenifere.

Not the camp of SENILE LIAR NANOGEN. The HATEFUL bunch Ill Wishers otherwise known as Afenifebi.

  3. Didn’t they ask him what his contributions have been in the Yoruba land since he became the APC leader? Is he not aware of the dominance of the Fulanis in government of Nigeria since Buhari came to power? What did he do about it? Sunday Igbowo was detained for how long. What did he say or do about it?
