Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair has visited the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the development was conveyed in a brief statement by Tinubu’s spokesman, Tunde Rahman, on Tuesday.
Rahman took to Twitter to share photos of the meeting. He wrote, “President-elect Bola Tinubu and former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair after a meeting this Tuesday afternoon at Defence House, Abuja.”
The president-elect’s official Twitter handle also had an announcement regarding the visit.
The details of the visit are yet to be disclosed.
