The National Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal in Umuahia has sacked the member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal constituency, Hon Amobi Ogah of the Labour Party.
It subsequently ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to withdraw the certificate of return given to Ogah and issue it to the petitioner, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Hon. Onyejeocha is the current minister of state for labour and productivity.
She was the deputy minority whip of the House of Representatives in the 9th National Assembly.
