A former Commissioner for Culture, Tourism & Special Duties in Ondo State under Dr Olusegun Mimiko’s administration, Hon. Femi Adekanmbi has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for the All progressives Congress, APC.
POLITICS NIGERIA gathered that Adekambi conveyed his decision in a letter dated 4th July 2020 written to the chairman of his ward, Igboroko II Ward 3, Owo. The letter read;
“Effective from today 4th of July 2020, I hereby tender my resignation from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) In my ward Igboroko Il Ward 3.”
“I took the decision because of my deep love for Owo Kingdom and to fully support the second term bid of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN), also to further support my political mentor Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential ambition in 2023.”
“I thank the leadership and members of the party at the ward, local, state and federal level for their support.”
