Fresh information reaching the POLITICS NIGERIA newsdesk this evening reveals that Unknown Gunmen attacked a convoy belonging to a House of Representatives member, Chris Emeka Azubogu.
According to eyewitness reports, the gunmen attacked the convoy in Nnobi area of Anambra state on Thursday evening.
This development is coming barely 24 hours after Dr. Chike Akunyili, husband to late NAFDAC DG, Dora Akunyili, was gruesomely shot dead in Nkpor area of the state by gunmen.
UPDATE
The driver was shot by the assailants and he died instantly. Fortunately, Azubogu was not in the convoy during the attack.
