About 10 people have been shot dead by unknown gunmen in Onicha Igboeze and Isu communities in Onicha LGA of Ebonyi state.
POLITICS NIGERIA gathered that Two lawyers and Police officers were among those killed by the dare-devil gunmen. Eyewitness reports reveal that after the killing the gunmen took the vehicle conveying the lawyers and burnt their own lexus jeep.
However, on Onicha Igboeze road, about seven travellers were burnt alive inside the vehicle they were travelling in.
The incident has since been confirmed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Loveth Odah,
Odah revealed that a team of policemen have been dispatched to the area.
