Uli police station in Anambra state was on Friday attacked by armed men.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that this follows the killing of policemen and other security operatives in the heart of Enugu state on Thursday.
Details of the this latest attack on a police facility are still foggy, and it is not yet clear if there are causalities. The level of destruction is not determined as of the time of publishing this report.

Insecurity in Southeast Nigeria
Southeast Nigeria has seen a surge in violence, with more than 130 police and other security personnel killed by gunmen since last year (2021), according to local media tallies.
Authorities have blamed attacks on either the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) movement, which is campaigning for a separate state for the ethnic Igbo people, or its armed wing, known as the Eastern Security Network (ESN).
The group has denied responsibility for the violence.
