Popular veteran Actor John Adewunmi, popularly known as Tafa Oloyede has died at the age of 69.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the Ede, Osun State born actor who ventured into acting in 1974 died on Tuesday at his residence at Arowomole, Kajola area, Osogbo, Osun State. He was said to be hypertensive.
Oloyede who had his theatre training under late Oyin Adejobi, featured in many movies such as ‘Jaiyesimi’, ‘Ayanmo’, ‘Ekuro Oloja’, ‘Orogun’, ‘Akanji Oniposi’ that made him popular.
Tafa Oloyede who was born on 19th November, 1952 is hardly seen in movies these days; a development that stood as a source of worry to his fans.
He is survived by wife and children.
