Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, deputy director general of the APC presidential campaign council, has once again criticised the CBN for imposing its Naira policy on Nigerians just before the general elections with the aim of sabotaging the process.
Oshiomhole made the revelation at Jattu market in Auchi Edo North, saying Buhari has no alternative but to respect the Supreme Court’s decision because it supersedes Buhari’s pronouncement.
He pondered why Buhari did not implement the same policy on the eve of his own re-election and why he now seeks to wreck another person’s election with such policy.
He begged the market women not to throw away their old money since, in accordance with the Supreme Court, their Naira is still valid. He also promised that after this Saturday, the Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emiefele will ‘expire’.
He implored them to refrain from fighting and to exercise patience in the knowledge that we would prevail.
According to him, governments come and go but people live on forever.
