Famous artist Zinoleesky has made a significant career move by switching record labels.
The talented artist, known for his unique sound and hit songs, has transitioned from Marlian Music to his new label, Zinonymous Sounds, days after Mohbad’s death.
27-year-old Mohbad (Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba), a former artiste under Marlian Music, died on Tuesday, September 12, under controversial circumstances.
Zinoleesky, whose real name is Oniyide Azeez, garnered a solid following and critical acclaim during his time with Marlian Music, a label associated with Nigerian artist Naira Marley.
Music fans have accused Marley of bullying Mohbad to death.
The allegations may have informed Zinolessly’s decision to move to Zinonymous Sounds, his record label.
Some fans had also accused Zinoleesky of not speaking out while Mohbad was being bullied by Marley and music promoter Sam Larry.
The police have since set up an investigative panel to probe the details surrounding Mohbad’s death.
