BREAKING: Zulum Announces 2 Crucial Appointments in Borno

Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has approved the appointment of Barkindo Saidu as director-general of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).

Governor Zulum also announced the appointment of Abdulkadir Harun as executive secretary of the Borno State Arabic and Sangaya Education Board (BOSASEB).

Both appointments are contained in a statement issued by Zulum’s special adviser on media and strategy, Isa Gusau, in Maiduguri, on Friday.

Barkindo, 54, is a native of Gwoza local government area of the state, while Harun, 59, hails from Ngala local government area.

A Ph.D. holder in strategic management from the International Business Management Institute in Berlin, Germany, Barkindo had served as the executive secretary/programme manager of Borno State Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS & Malaria (BOSACAM).

As revealed by the governor, Barkindo’s appointment was based on excellent credentials and his impressive record in public service.

Zulum congratulated the appointees and expressed anticipation of excellence in their service to the people of Borno and humanity.
