Buhari killed Nigeria, Tinubu is burying her – Sowore laments

Publisher and activist, Omoyele Sowore has alleged that President Bola Tinubu and his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari have done immense damage to Nigeria.

Sowore said this while speaking on issues of democracy and the challenges faced by Nigeria and her people ahead of May 29, the second anniversary of Tinubu’s assumption of office.

According to Sowore, Nigerians made a dangerous mistake in voting President Tinubu into office.

He noted that the damage caused to Nigeria and Nigerians by both leaders is irreparable.

His words, “My position on this government is not a thought—it’s a clear stance I’ve held long before the 2023 elections. Nigerians made a grave mistake voting Bola Tinubu into office.”

Speaking further, Sowore said that by the time Tinubu is done with his tenure as president, Nigerians all over the globe would be begging ex-president Buhari to return to power.

“He (Tinubu) has done irreparable damage—economically, socially, politically. He has crippled institutions, education, and democracy.

“Buhari killed Nigeria in eight years; Tinubu came, and in two years he is burying it,” Sowore noted.

He also stated that most Nigerians are still wondering if Nigeria is still a democratic nation, especially with the happenings across the nation and political parties.
