Governor Godwin Obaseki has finally reacted to his victory over the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC and its candidate, Osagie Ize-Iyamu in court today.
Obaseki emerged victorious in a suit filed against him for alleged certificate forgery. Speaking on the development, he stated;
“The verdict of the Federal High Court, delivered by Honourable Justice Ahmed Mohammed on the allegation of certificate forgery is well-received and a victory for the rule of law.”
“The suit was a most needless attempt by desperate individuals trying to undo the will of the people through the backdoor but we are happy today that justice and truth have prevailed.”
