
Former vice president, Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday met some key leaders and members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) including a former national chairman of the party, Uche Secondus.
The two-time presidential candidate of the PDP met with the party members on the heels of the discussions on the proposed political coalition ahead of the 2027 general election.
Other leaders of the PDP who are part of the high-level political meeting taking place in Abuja include a former Senate President, David Mark andex-governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido among others.
Former governors Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto), Liyel Imoke (Cross River), Babangida Aliyu (Niger), and Sam Egwu (Ebonyi)are also part of the meeting.
The PDP leaders and members are said to be meeting at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
It was gathered that the meeting is part of the consultations towards the official unveiling of the coalition platform that would serve as a path to the ousting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led government.
