The African Democratic Party (ADC) has said that the opposition coalition aimed at ousting the incumbent president, Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) is more than a political movement.
In a post made on its official X page, the leadership of the newly adopted coalition platform said its members and leaders are not out to play politics.
The post said the party aims to build a future for Nigerians out of the already damaged system.
It also described the coalition as a gathering of minds focused on bringing real change to the people.
“We’re not here to play politics. We’re here to build a future.
“ADC Coalition is more than a political movement, it’s a gathering of minds committed to real change,” the party stated.
It also noted that its members, leaders and supporters alike are focused on asking hard questions capable of creating a path that could foster solutions.
“We ask the hard questions. We build real solutions. We’re not moved by hype we’re moved by purpose.
“Coalition of Unity. Not a party. A people. Let’s reason. Let’s rise. Let’s rebuild.
“Arise and shine, Nigeria,” the ADC added.
Recall that several leaders from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party defected from their parties to the ADC.
The defection of the leaders followed the adoption of the ADC as the opposition coalition platform on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
