A veteran Nigerian actress, Fatima Usman popularly known as Fati Slow Motion, is dead.
The death of the late Kannywood actress was announced on Tuesday by a Kano-based activist, Mansura Isa, in a post on his Facebook page.
According to her, the actor died on Monday night at Habasha near Sudan where she would be buried today.
Condolences would be received at her family house at Ungwa Uku in Kano.
Confirming the incident, Executive Secretary of the Kano state Censorship Board, Abba El-Mustapha shared her photo on X and wrote: “INNALILLAHI WAINNA ILAIHIR RAJI’UN. Allah Ya Yiwa Jaruma A Kannywood FATIMA USMAN(FATI SLOW), Rasuwa.
“Muna Addu’ar Allah Ya Jikanta Ya Gafarta Mata Kurakuranta Yasa Aljanna Ce Makomarta. Idan Tamu Tazo Kuma Allah yasa Mu çıka Da Kyau Da İmanı. R.I.J.F 😭😭😭”
‘Fati Slow Motion’ had been in the Kannywood movie industry for over 15 years.
