Maliha Mohammed, a chef from Kenya, has broken Hilda Baci’s record for the longest cooking marathon.
Maliha accomplished this feat a few months after expressing her ambition to pursue it, surpassing 26-year-old Baci’s record of 93 hours and 11 minutes for the longest cooking marathon.
She achieved her aim on Tuesday, June 13, although the Guinness World Record has yet to confirm Chef Maliha’s new cooking record.
Chef Maliha, who began her cook-a-thon on August 11, unofficially set a new record after cooking for 95 hours and 15 minutes.
The mother of two, who had previously set a Guinness World Record in 2019, celebrated her new accomplishment by sharing pictures online.
