The bereaved father of late Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba (aka Mohbad) has given his version of how much he got from the N2 million sent to the family by Afrobeats singer Davido.
In a viral video shared online by YabaLeft, the aged father of Mohbad noted that he got only N1 million from the money.
According to him in the short clip, the remaining N1 million was used to buy his late son’s coffin.
He disclosed that the money was sent to Mohbad’s friend, Daosha.
Meanwhile, in an earlier post by Politics Nigeria, Naira Marley had denied having a hand in the death of MohBad.
In a statement issued on Friday, September 15, Naira Marley said he was saddened by MohBad’s death and that he deserved a befitting burial.
He also called for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding MohBad’s death.
The Inside Life crooner said: “Mohbad is an incredible street pop star who contributed to the foundation of the Martian Music. Despite his departure last year we continually championed his talent.”
