
The immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Umar Ganduje has visited his predecessor, Nentawe Yilwatda.
Ganduje, a former governor of Kano State visited Yilwatda on Wednesday, August 27.
He paid a visit to the current party chairman to offer his condolences on the passing of his mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda.
A devout Christian and virtuous women leader, Mama Yilwatda died on August 17, in Jos, Plateau State.
She died at the age of 84 at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH).
A renowned pillar in the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), Mama Lydia was said to have played a key role alongside her late husband, Toma Yilwatda, a reverend, in strengthening church work across Borno, Yobe, Bauchi, and Plateau States.
