President Bola Tinubu is set to visit Katsina State on a one-day working visit, the state government has announced.
Bala Salisu-Zango, the Katsuna State’s Commissioner for Information, said the president would visit the state on Friday, May 1, 2025.
Speaking during a press briefing on Wednesday, Salisu-Zango said the president upon his arrival will inaugurate two projects completed by the state Governor, Dikko Radda.
Among projects billed for inauguration by the president includes the Eastern Bypass, stretching from Dutsin-ma Road, through Kano and Daura Roads, and terminating at Yandaki, in the Kaita Local Government Area of the state.
In addition to these, President Tinubu would also inaugurate the state’s Agricultural Mechanisation Centre.
Salisu-Zango added that as the president’s first visit to Katsina since assuming office in May 2023, this would avail the state the opportunity to discuss some of the challenges, especially insecurity facing the state.
He further urged the people of Katsina State to come out en masse to welcome the president on Friday.
