Dillibe Onyeama dies at 71 [PHOTOS]

Popular Nigerian writer, Dillibe Onyeama, is dead.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Onyeama was famous for his controversial novel, “Nigger at Eton”, where he detailed the racial discrimination he faced at Eton College, United Kingdom (UK).

He was the first black person to be admitted to the British institution in the 1960s.

The exit of the 71-year-old was announced by his son, Dillibe Junior via his Facebook page on Friday.

The grieving son said that he had learnt massively from his father’s life.

“Even though we were far apart, I have never stopped loving you; never stopped thinking about you.

“I’ve learned a lot from your life, your love, and your motivational words. Until we meet in the resurrection morning sweet daddy.

“Go with God. This isn’t goodbye,” Dillibe Jr. wrote.

Condolence messages have been pouring in following Onyeama Sr.’s demise.
