“Don’t bury MohBad in same grave” – Native doctor issues strong warning

A popular native doctor based in Ibadan, Oluwo Jogbodo Orunmila, has issued a strong warning after the exhumation of the body of Afrobeats musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka MohBad.

Politics Nigeria reports that Mohbad died under mysterious circumstances on September 12, with Nigerians calling for a thorough investigation into the cause of his death.

Speaking after MohBad’s body was exhumed for autopsy on Thursday, the native doctor said there are certain steps that must be taken to prevent more deaths in the community.

“There are spiritual implications to exhuming the body. Now, we all know there are laws and there are traditions,” the native doctor tweeted via his verified X account.

“After exhuming the body, they must not leave the grave opened like that and they cannot bury him there again.

“They’ll also need to cut a banana tree, wrap it with a white clothe and put it back in that grave.

“They’ll need maybe a fowl or a goat (male) to spill the blood in the grave with some other tins.

“The reason they are doing this is to avoid a reoccurring death in the community. Also to safe guard some of the people who exhumed and witnessed the process. There’s possibility they do Órò around that place very soon,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, the Police has said that the autopsy on late MohBad’s body has been concluded even as Nigerians await the result.
