King of Akoh Kingdom in Rivers State, His Royal Majesty Eze Ikegbidi, has been arrested by the operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the arrest was made on Monday.
This followed the murder of the Ahoada Divisional Police Officer, Bako Angbashim, by suspected cultists.
Bako Angbashim, widely known for walking barefoot, was killed and beheaded by the gunmen on Friday night during an operation with his men in the area.
Recall that HRM Eze Ikegbidi was recently suspended indefinitely by the State Governor, Siminilayi Fubara.

The State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department in Port Harcourt, the state capital, reportedly took custody of the monarch for questioning.
