[BREAKING] Court discontinues Nnamdi Kanu’s case

A N20 billion suit filed at the Federal High Court, Abuja, by the detained leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, against the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, (SAN), has been “discontinued”.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that this update was given on Thursday by Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, the Special Counsel to Kanu and IPOB.

“UPDATE on #MNK (Mazi Nnamdi Kanu) outstanding cases in which I’m directly involved:

“The UK case is awaiting decision.

“Fed. High Court case for Nov 18 is discontinued.

“The AU case is awaiting decision.

“UN Opinion has been escalated to other tribunals.

“The Kenyan case is set for Feb 2023 (sad),” Ejimakor wrote on his known Twitter handle.

Recall that the High Court had fixed Friday November 18 for hearing of the suit which also has the Director-General (DG) of National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Abubakar, as a defendant.

Kanu, through Ejimakor, had filed a writ of summons marked: FHC/ABJ/CS/1702/222.

The application, dated and filed on September 23, listed Malami and Abubakar as 1st and 2nd defendants respectively.

Ejimakor challenged the manner of Kanu’s arrest in Kenya, and also called his continued incarceration a violation of human rights.

The reason for discontinuing the case was not stated by the lawyer.

    1. The stupidity you are talking about is that you are uneducated to understand the predicament of the State and put aside the unity of the country thereby.
