Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has said his Edo State counterpart, Godwin Obaseki will be humiliated out of the state Government House in Benin, the state capital.
Ganduje, who is the Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) National Campaign Council for Edo State Governorship Election, made this known to reporters after the inauguration of the council at the party secretariat, Abuja on Monday.
The Kano governor also berated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for supporting Obaseki, adding that the opposition party is only interested in Edo State treasury.
Ganduje also added that chairman of the PDP National Campaign Council for Edo State governorship Election and governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike will be isolated after securing victory for APC at the poll.
He also said the APC was not bothered by the power of incumbency because the party has a candidate who has all it takes to win the governorship election.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the party’s candidate, will face Obaseki in the September 19 governorship election.
