The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the dissolution of its zonal South-South caretaker committee.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, made the announcement via his Twitter handle on Wednesday.
He revealed that a reconstituted caretaker committee will be chaired by the immediate past chairman of the party in Edo state, Dan Orbih.
The tweet read: “@OfficialPDPNig dissolves zonal South-South caretaker committee and hereby reconstitutes a fresh caretaker committee,” Ologbondiyan wrote.
“The new caretaker committee is chaired by Chief Dan Orbih. Other members to be announced soon.”
