Edo guber: Obaseki reveals first victims of. negative consequences should opposition win

The governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has said that civil servants in the state will be the first victims of bad governance should the opposition win the September 21, governorship election.

Obaseki while appreciating public servants in the state on Tuesday said a huge progress has been made in addressing some of the issues faced by workers.

According to the governor, the use of technology-driven operations within the state has helped in meeting the challenges of the people.

He urged workers in the state to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party to ensure continuity in the civil service progress.

His words, “The rate at which we need to run will be very high when we make the right decision. We can’t afford any mistakes come Saturday.

“Those who want to take over power by all means are uneducated and have never worked in any better place.

“My message to you is that, that is a risk we can’t afford. It is not about Obaseki but democracy and development,” the governor noted.
