Edo Poll: PDP’s Asue Ighodalo’s Guber Bid Receives Boost As North Central’s Senator Endorses Him

The governorship bid of the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party) in Edo State, Asue Ighodalo has received a boost after the senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan endorsed him.

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan during a rally in Igarra, Lampese and Ibillo in Akoko-Edo, urged the people of Ebira and other tribes to support and cast their vote for Ighodalo and his running mate, Omorodion Ogie at the polls.

This, she added, is to ensure continued dividends of democracy in the state.

The senator’s chief press secretary, Arogbonlo Israel, in a statement quoted his principal as saying: “I care about you and trust you’ll make the right choice on Saturday the 21st day of September 2024; Vote PDP.”

The Edo governorship election is scheduled for September 21st, 2024.

Ighadolo faces Monday Okpebholo of the APC and Olumide Akpata of the Labour Party and other candidates at the polls.
