EFCC Grills Another Buhari Minister Over Alleged N2bn Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has invited the immediate past Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, for questioning over alleged N2billion money laundering.

Politics Nigeria gathered that Tallen arrived the Abuja Zonal Command of the Commission around noon on Friday, June 2, and was questioned by investigators until 8pm.

According to EFCC sources, Tallen allegedly diverted part of the money from the African First Ladies Peace Mission Project.

Pauline’s grilling by the anti-graft agency is coming hours after the EFCC interrogated the immediate past governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi, who also served as Buhari’s minister.

Tallen, from Plateau state, is a former senator and an ally of ex-First Lady Aisha Buhari.

She initially resigned her appointment before the 2023 general elections to contest for a Senate seat but changed her mind afterwards.
