Election: Tinubu’s camp reacts as Atiku vows to go to court

A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Femi Fani-Kayode has said Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) “will meet a crushing defeat” in court.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that like Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Atiku refused to concede defeat to Bola Tinubu, the APC candidate and president-elect.

The former vice-president said he will commence a legal battle to ‘recover his mandate’.

Reacting, Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, said Atiku is confused.

“I have never seen a man that is as hopelessly delusional as @atiku.

“I watched his press conference and laughed. He says he is going to court and I say the sooner the better. I commend him for that. That is his right.

“Be rest assured that he will meet a crushing defeat there too,” Fani-Kayode wrote on his verified Twitter handle on Thursday night.
