The Take It Back Movement, a leading organizer of the EndBadGovernance nationwide protest, in conjunction with other protest organizers, has announced plans for a massive one-million-man protest across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, this Saturday, August 10.
According to Mr. Sanyaolu Juwon, National Coordinator of the movement, this event marks a critical juncture in their nationwide campaign, which began on August 1, 2024.
He said, “the Take It Back Movement (TIB), side-by-side with other organizers and organizations will on August 10, lead a monumental one-million-man protest in each of the 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.
“This event will mark a critical juncture in our nationwide EndBadGovernanceInNigeria campaign, which began on August 1, 2024.
“It started as a planned 10-day protest but has evolved into a sustained and widespread movement, drawing participants from every corner of Nigeria and the diaspora.”
The protest, which aims to bring attention to the challenges faced by citizens, has garnered massive support nationwide, with good turnout in northern states.
Despite President Bola Tinubu’s appeal for demonstrators to pause and give his government more time to respond to their grievances, the protests have continued unabated in Abuja, Kano, and other areas.
