Sahara Reporters Publisher, Omoyele Sowore has accused the lead pastor of Dunamis International gospel centre, Paul Enenche of conniving with officials of the Department of state security services, DSS to detain 5 #BuhariMustGo protesters.
Sowore in a statement via Facebook alleged that Enenche and DSS knew the whereabouts of the arrested protesters.
“Dr. Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre is in bed with the Muhammadu Buhari tyrannical regime, he was one of the people honouring the Twitter ban, he’s not tweeted since the regime banned Twitter.”
“It is now clearly understandable that he’s conniving with DSS to keep innocent youths detained unlawfully. Today at the premises of his church in Abuja journalists are being harassed because they wanted to cover a proposed protest by family members and friends of five young people handed over by Dunamis church security to lawless DSS last Sunday.”
POLITICS NIGERIA gathered that two reporters were detained on Sunday morning by security operatives attached to the church for covering a protest by activists and relations of the activists arrested in the church last Sunday for wearing #BuhariMustGo T-shirts.
This allegation has an element of truth. Yes, how did those security operatives know there were such people there?. If they are members of the church, were they in the church to worship or to effect arrest?.
