The immediate past Minister for Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, dismissed claims that she was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in some section of the media.
Tallen was grilled on Friday over alleged money laundering of about N2 billion.
In a statement personally signed by her, the former minister noted that she visited the EFCC to clear the air on the matter.
According to Tallen, she did not address the issue before now due to the respect for her former principal – President Muhammadu Buhari.
Tallen said there was no formal invitation from the anti-graft agency neither was she arrested.
She reminded leaders that the country’s economic and political infrastructure are to be used to serve the nation.
