A Notorious Cultist simply identified as ‘Obasanjo’ has been killed by suspected rival cult members in Oworonshoki area of Lagos state.
His death is coming amidst an ongoing cult battle in the area. He was shot dead on Sunday.
Lagos state has been plagued by the menace of Cultism as several cult groups continuously terrorise residents of the state.
Obasanjo’s death came as a shock to several residents of the area with some calling for the Lagos state police command to deploy officers to secure the community as there will be reprisal attacks over the murder.
The two major cult gangs that operate within Oworonshoki are the Eiye and Aiye cult groups and their rivalry is legendary.
