Simon Ekpa, a self-styled disciple of Nnamdi Kanu, on Thursday condemned Ohanaeze for allegedly exonerating Peter Obi from the 2013 killings of suspected members of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and several other persons.
POLITICS NIGERIA recalls that dead bodies numbering about 35 were on 19th January 2013 discovered floating on Ezu River, on the boundary between Anambra and Enugu States.
Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in respect of the 2023 general elections, was the governor of Anambra State at the time.
Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) had stated on Wednesday while reacting to a statement credited to Ekpa that insinuations by the Finland-based separatist and his cohorts were because they were ‘threatened by the democratic cum ballot revolution of Obi’.
Responding, Ekpa wrote on his known Twitter handle: “Ohaneze that could not condemn Hope Uzodinma for killing in Imo State are now exonerating Peter Obi from killing Biafra youths and dumping their bodies in Izu river. What a buffoon elders. You watch your own being killed, you remain silent only to come out when we point fingers.”
