The Federal Ministry of Sports Development and the Delta State Government have formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to host the National Youth Games for the next four years.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the ministry has entrusted Delta State with the responsibility of hosting this prestigious sporting event.
The National Youth Games have gained immense recognition as a platform for identifying and nurturing talented athletes across the country.
It serves as a springboard for discovering the abundant talent within our youth.
Originally scheduled to take place in Asaba from February 8 to 18, this year’s edition was postponed to a later date. The ministry cited logistical and time constraints, particularly in light of the General Elections, that took place on February 25, 2023.
