The new minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has reacted to claims that he is now using a N300 million bulletproof SUV.
Speaking with journalists in Abuja on Wednesday, August 23, Wike said he saw the report on social media and noted that people should be careful not to destroy others.
According to him, when he assumed the office, he was told by the ministry’s permanent secretary that there was a car for him.
Wike said while a governor of Rivers, he had cars and wondered what people expect for someone of his calibre.
To assure reporters of the sincerity of his position, Wike asked them to go and observe if the car was even tinted.
