Ifeanyi Adeleke, the three year old son of Popular Music Star, Davido Adeleke is dead.
It was gathered that the young Adeleke drowned in a pool at the Family Residence.
A source close to the family stated; “The boy was inside water for too long and they pulled him out and rushed him to the hospital,” the family source said under anonymity to await official statement. “By the time they rushed him to Lagoon Hospital it was already too late.”
He was confirmed dead this evening at a private hospital in Lagos.
The couple had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan yesterday and had left Ifeanyi with his minders who can’t explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned.
Davido and Chioma’s loss is coming years after Nigerian singer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj and wife Lineo Didi lost their first child after a drowning incident in 2018.
Daniel Oyebanjo III who was barely one year died after he drowned in a swimming pool at Dbanj’s residence in ikoyi, Lagos state.
