Femi Adesina Hits Back at Bishop Kukah Over Corruption Comment About Buhari’s Govt

Former spokesperson to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, Femi Adesina, has hit back at the Bishop of Sokoto Catholic Diocese, Matthew Hassan Kukah, in response to his recent comments.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Adesina asserted that Kukah’s remarks stemmed from his disappointment at not receiving preferential treatment from Buhari.

Recall that on Monday, Kukah criticised the administration of President Buhari, stating that Nigeria experienced its most corrupt period during his tenure. Kukah said that corruption was not initiated by Buhari but had intensified under his watch as the then-President.

Kukah made these remarks while delivering a lecture in Ado Ekiti to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the call to bar of Aare Afe Babalola, the founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti.

In response to Kukah’s comments, Adesina took to Twitter and wrote, “Who listens to that Bishop again? He’s still bitter that he didn’t receive any special treatment from Buhari, unlike in the past. As it pains them, it brings us joy.”

  1. Adesina is so none sensical with his defense of Buhari administration.
The whole world felt the maladministration of curroption under the regime that led the country into the mess he left behind.

  2. Is very unfortunate if people like Adesina are still talking to the public, corruption was breeded and nourse by Bahari administration, the worst in Nig history. Shem on you adesina

    1. Bishop Kukah have never seek patronage, did not sort for patronage in Buhari regime and will not seek patronage from present government but will always be the voice of the voiceless. Adesina be informed, his conscience and history will judge him and his likes. I believe , no sooner than later the world will hear his true confession. Truth is a open wound! Time will tell!!
