Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola has donated 1 billion naira to fight the spread of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
Otedola made the announcement via his social media page some minutes ago. He wrote;
“I will be donating 1 billion naira towards the eradication of COVID-19 across Nigeria.”
“We must all do what we can to flatten the curve.”
Otedola’s donation is coming a day after billionaire Industrialist, Abdulsamad Rabiu(BUA) announced a donation of N1 Billion to fight the deadly Pandemic.
Nigeria is currently battling to contain the spread of the virus that has so far claimed 1 life in the country. State governments have shut down activities and encouraged residents to self-isolate.
