FG makes fresh announcement about Minna, Abuja airports

The Nigerian government declared the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport, Minna, an alternative to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Wednesday, April 23.

Thus declaration was made by Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development.

Keyamo while speaking at the inaugural slight of Overland Airways from BAT Airport said the airport is at par with the International Airport in Abuja.

According to Keyamo, the airport has the ambience, face and runway that is measurable to any international airport across the globe.

“The runway is an international runway; a 747 and a triple 7 can use this runway.

“Our eyes are on this airport. By the powers conferred in me, I declare Minna Airport as the alternative to Abuja Airport. NCAA, FAAN, take note,” Keyamo said.
