A young lady simply identified as Iniobong Umoren has been found dead after attending a ‘job Interview’ at Airport road, Akwa-Ibom state.
Her death was announced this morning on Twitter by her friend, @UmohUduak1, who had raised alarm a few days earlier about Umoren’s disappearance. She initiated a search on social media using the hashtag, #FindHinnyHumoren on April 29th after being unable to reach the deceased via phone.

She tweeted that the late Umoren was invited for a job interview and went missing shortly after. She also disclosed that she had called Umoren to find out how the interview went only to hear her screaming before the line went dead.
Y’all my friend @HinyHumoren is in trouble and she needs our help.
I’m currently in Lagos and I can’t help than to put this out there.
Earlier today she told me she was going for a job interview at airport road which is quite far from her house. pic.twitter.com/X1YBLUPO7d— Happiness Activist (@UmohUduak1) April 29, 2021
The hashtag went viral in hours drawing the attention of the Akwa-Ibom state police command.
The police later announced that they had arrested two people that they suspect had played a role in the disappearance of Ms Umoren. The announcement was made via their verified Twitter handle saying the Anti-Kidnapping Squad for Akwa Ibom were on the case.
To cut everything short, she sent me a 1sec audio record on WhatsApp and I had to call her back to know if she wanted to say something to me but immediately I called her I heard her screaming.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Someone, please help her out— Happiness Activist (@UmohUduak1) April 29, 2021
Sadly, Miss Umoren was discovered dead, reportedly killed by her supposed interviewers and buried in a shallow grave.
