A former lawmaker of the Nigerian Senate, Shehu Sani on Thursday, May 1, listed the five major things that undermine the efforts of Nigerian workers.
Sani who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District at the Eighth Senate listed the challenges faced by civil servants and other Nigerians in the working class group.
The lawmaker highlighted these challenges in a post made on X, in commemoration of the Workers Day Celebration which takes place annually on May 1.
Sani’s post was titled, “Five things that rubbish the wages of the average working class.”
Below is the list of five things by Sani:
1 Withdrawal of subsidies.
2 Increase in tariffs on electricity and telecommunications.
3 Inflation.
4 Falling value of the Naira.
5 Increase in rents.
You said it well but since you join the party that is doing all these things to workers it means you are happy with all these bad policies that are downgrading the lives of Nigerian workers
